Welcome to the ii5 Japanese Speaking Practice Library.
How to practice:
1. Record your first response before viewing the examples.
2. Review the example language or speaking points.
3. Record the same task again using one improvement technique.
4. Listen to both recordings and complete the reflection.
Use your own words. These activities are ungraded practice. They do not produce an official ii5 score or certificate. The Listening Fluency activity is currently a written response simulation and does not measure listening ability.

Practice Japanese pronunciation and rhythm twice, then compare your recordings.
1. Round 1: Read the passage aloud before viewing the speaking points.
2. Speaking points: Review chunking, rhythm, and difficult sounds.
3. Round 2: Read the same passage again using one helpful technique.
4. Reflection: Compare your two recordings.
